大阪芸大附属 大阪美術専門学校 総合アート学科 映像・アニメ専攻では、基礎造形教育をベースに、実写とアニメの両方の基本を学び、一人ひとりの個性と創意を最大限に発揮した作品を制作しています。

 

創造性は手仕事からしか生まれない

デッサンや造形。鉛筆と練り消し、筆やカラス口で描く、針金を曲げ、粘土をこねる。そんな手仕事ができる人は、マウスやペンタブを使っても上手に描ける。逆はない。

写真も、動画も、撮影はフィルムから。光を読み、あるいは作り、フレームで切り取った光をレンズを通して定着させる。フィルムで撮れる人はデジタルでも創造的な絵が撮れる。やはり逆はない。

シナリオも絵コンテも映像理論も演技・演出も、自分の頭と手で身につけるもの。創造的な仕事は、コンピュータではなく人が生み出す。

だから美専は、これらを必修とし、基礎にこだわります。

 

他者に出会い、他者とぶつかる

他の造形芸術と違って、映像は一人ではできない。だから常に対話を通して、他者と出会い、ぶつかりながら作業する。ここで言う他者とは自分とは異なる価値観をもつ人のこと。とうぜん、簡単には理解しあえない。面倒かもしれない。もともと一人が好きな学生も多いし。

それでも、他者と常に関係をもってほしい。

そうじゃないと、人の心を打つ作品は作れないから。

 

やりたいことを自由にやる

教えられたことを繰り返すだけでは、退屈だし、何も身につかない。やりたいことを自由にやる。それが学生の特権。そんな経験が将来、必ず役に立つはず。

だから、まずは何でも好きなことを見つけてほしい。それが見つかったら、ひたすらまっすぐ。本気汁だらだら出して。

In studies of film, video and animation in Osaka College of Art, we maximize our students' individual creativity and talents to let them produce the works of art in their own way. That's why we give them a firm foundation in both of live-action-film and animation.

 

Creativity comes from hands and not digital tools

We use pencils, kneaded erasers, brushes and drawing pens. We bend wires and work clay. First you must do this handwork, subsequently you can use mouses and pen tablets well. It is impossible in the reverse order. 

We take still and motion picture on film first. We interpret or create the light and catch it in a frame to entrench in film. Analogue-filmmaker can take creative pictures on digital, but a digital-movie-maker is not always a good filmmaker.

You also should learn screenplay, storyboard, theories, direction and acting with your own head and hands.

Creativity comes from not computer but human. That's why we place a high priority on the elements. 

 

To meet others / To clash with others

Everyone can make no film nor video by oneself, unlike other genre of arts. So we must do it in meeting and clashing with others through dialogue. The term "others" are individuals who have a different set of values. It is difficult to understand each other. It may be complicated. Many students like to be alone.

Even so, we want you to have a relationship with others.

Otherwise you can not produce one to move others.

 

Do what you want to do free

It is boring and unuseful to only repeat something to be taught. It is a students' privilege to do what you want to do free. The experience will certainly be useful in the future.

So we hope you to find anything you like. If you find it, Do it straight and earnestly.
